Artists

The goal of my work is to depict color and form in an aesthetically pleasing way. This also provides me with the means to expand my abilities through constant experimentation. I don't seek to represent imagery or direct aspects from the real world. I do not believe that it would be an unreasonable assumption to suggest that any meaning or concept comes second, the quality of the actually work is what is paramount. For inspiration, I look at The Modernist tradition, and the concept of emphasizing a material's 'competency', In my case, the flatness of paint and it's saturated pure color.
